Sinead Johnstone

Sinead is the CEO and lead Aesthetic nurse prescriber. Sinead started her Emerald journey in 2018 when she started her training in aesthetics. She previously managed care homes and had along history in as an NHS nurse. Sinead has extensive knowledge and experience as both a nurse and aesthetic clinician. she prides herself in building the company to where it is now and the amazing team she has around her. Sinead since opening the clinic has Won awards for best cosmetic practitioner and best clinic in Edinburgh on many occasions. However she is especially proud to have won the outstanding achievement in Scottish aesthetics award 2023. Her favourite treatment is liquid Rhinoplasty or the Emerald signature lip. however her favourite part of the job is making her clients feel like the best version of themselves.

Kerri Hamilton

Kerri joined the Emerald team as an MUA in 2020. soon after Kerri started assisting Sinead with treatments as she had always had a keen interest in the aesthetics industry. She soon started her journey in the industry and trained initially in our Neofound treatment. Kerri proved herself a natural with the needle and was soon commenced on her aesthetics training. Kerri has covered lots of training and supervision days with Sinead and is now a talented aesthetic practitioner. Kerri was well known as one of the best MUA’s in the area and has a great artistic eye for detail , so why put such talent to waste, Kerri is now not only one of our practitioners but our semi permanent brow specialist, providing the best hairstroke and ombre brows.

Jenna Forsyth

Jenna joined the team in 2022 as a newly qualified aesthetics practitioner. she has a long history in the NHS as an ICU nurse and now a community nurse. Jenna started supervision and shadow days with Sinead at Emerald and showed great talent. Jenna was in the process of setting up her own HIS regulations when she decided she wanted to join the Emerald family. Jenna is in the process of completing her prescribing course and specialises in lumi eyes and skin boosting treatments in clinic as well as aniti aging care and dermal fillers. Jenna will primarily based at our Galashiels clinic with visiting days in Bonnyrigg.

Sarah Smyth

Sarah is our ray of sunshine front of house, she also often assists with treatments and eases clients that are nervous. You will hear from Sarah at the end of the phone and she will answer all your messages. Sarah has a background in care and this shows with every client and with all us melodramatic practitioners when we are having a busy day. Sarah is an essential member of the team and keep us all in check. make sure to pop in and say Hi to her.

Ashleigh Wilson

Ashleigh has recently joined us in February 2023. she currently still practices as a nurse in critical care and has extensive nursing knowledge from a history within the NHS. She has had an interest in aesthetic nursing for a long time and recently took the plunge to complete her training. She immediately joined the team and has shown great potential with excellent results already. Ashleigh has a great eye for detail and is always keen to extend her knowledge and skills. we predict big things for Ashleigh at Emerald.

Clare Wilson

Clare is one of Sinead Life long friends and started this journey soon after Sinead at Emerald in 2019. Clare is a visiting Nurse to the clinic and has not only extensive knowledge as a nurse but in aesthetics too. Clare currently works as a Marie Curie nurse and has a been nursing for 10+ years. Clare specialises in natural lips and fibroblast treatments. Her visiting days to the clinic are variable however to book with her check her Instagram page clare_emeradaestehtics for her availability.
